Who do I need to talk to around here!?

Trauma and PTSD affect millions.  Most commonly; our War Veterans.  Let's get them the help they need to move forward in life.

Trauma and PTSD affect millions.  Most commonly; our War Veterans.  Let's stop the neglect and get them the help they need to move past their trauma and forward in their lives.

Please help me get the word out to our veterans so they can get the help they so desperately need. It's likely that you or someone you know suffers from PTSD. Either from military service or through the course of a difficult life.
EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy is treatment focused directly on the trauma that caused the PTSD.

EMDR is not currently accessible to our Veterams by the Administration due to a lack of training for the program. I hope to change that.

I believe our Veterans should have access to outside treatment if the VA can not provide them the service they need. For many, this is a life saving programing.

I suffered on going early childhood trauma. It wasn't until I was treated for my PTSD that we, my Therapist and I, discovered I also had a dissociative identity disorder, DID.

With EMDR treatment I have successfully integrated my parts and I have moved past my trauma. Or rather in fact, I have finally moved my trauma to the past.

I describe EMDR as a physical way to mental health. The exercises used with a licensed and skilled therapist, can give our veterans the opportunity for the peace they only hope for.

Our heroes sacrifice so much, and sometimes they give all for their country.  Their families sacrifice and often break under the pressures of PTSD.

Our Soldiers signed a bilateral contract with our government.  I don’t think our government is holding up their end when it comes to health care for the survivors.

The tools to help these men and women is right there at their fingertips.

EMDR treatment is far less expensive and time consuming than cognitive talk therapy. That type of therapy takes years if not decades to work. And that's if it works at all. Then of course there are all the medications that only mask a problem that could be healed.

Why would any administration refuse a medical tool used to heal our soldiers of a disorder that has been killing our men and women for so long?

It's like admitting they don't want to find the cure for cancer.

Please help me in getting the word out about EMDR treatment. It really is something different that truly worked for me. It took me over 30 years to find the help I needed.  Many people don’t have this kind of time.

Many people don't even know that EMDR exists. That there is something that is physically effective in treating a mental short.  For lack of a better word.

I want the Veteran's Administration to make EMDR available to those who serve our country.  They deserve every medical option available to treat PTSD and its related disorders.  They know EMDR is successful and I know it can save lives.

It is my most personal goal to get this to someone in Washington who cares.  Someone who can make a difference. Can you help? Do you know anyone who can help?

If you know of anyone I can contact to help get these services available to our Heroes, please send an email.  I just need a contact; I will do the work.

We can stop the “war disease, the shell shock, the PTSD and the multiple personality disorders that are just Parts of ourselves.”  We can give our Veterans and many others the tools they need to gain control of their lives and start living in the right now.  Help them let the past slip into a distant memory.

They offer their lives but not all of them have to die for our country.  They deserve this option at the very least.

Thank you for your time.
